A few things to know:

• This show is entirely sung - there is no dialogue or speaking of any kind. All of the storytelling is through song.

• Stories of women from Eve to Cleopatra to Billie Jean King are part of this 90 minute, no intermission show.

What to bring to the audition:

• 2 song selections

  • One should be up tempo

  • One should be a ballad

  • If they can contrast in style as well, that is ideal (one contemporary, one more

    lyrical/classic)

• At least 32 bars of each selection is required, but singing the entire song is also acceptable as the numbers in this show needs to demonstrate in one song the storyline of an entire character. Your ability to tell a story is important for casting in this show.

• No accompaniment tracks. A pianist will be provided.

  • If you perform a cut, please make sure it is well marked in your music.

  • Music should be hole-punched in a binder for the pianist. No loose pages.
